Pixies Doolittle

Album System (Cover, Lyric Sheet, and Labels) for 'Doolittle' by The Pixies. Pen and ink, digital. 2025.

I packed as many references to this album as I could in the artwork. There's chains, sliced up eyeballs, waves of mutilation, sex, death, and birth. The lyric sheet takes 'Here Comes Your Man' quite literally. (I am so funny.) This project went through many iterations, but started out like every musically based project does for me- as watercolor sketches made while listening to the album without pause. For as long as I've been alive, my family would sing along to this album during road trips. This album is very special to me, and I hope I got it right.
